Just took a look at my passport but couldn't read the last time I was in Bogotá ... I believe it was 03 ... anyway, I found the city vibrant, very affordable and felt very safe. It was clear that the locals were hopeful, that a corner had been turned and that the future was again bright. What had been done with the downtown traffic congestion and the smog is a miracle. Hope this helps and that you are doing exceptionally well!!
